BORN: February 12, 1968 in Lafayette, Indiana to the proud parents Ken and Carol Barker.
Attacked by bees at age 4. That sucked. Moved to Romney later that year. Bruce attended Mintonye Elementary School and Southwestern Junior High, finally graduating from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, Indiana.

Bruce was married on June 8, 2002 to the wonderful Sabrina Lake.
LITTLE KNOWN FACTS

Self-taught musician. I wouldn’t even really call myself a musician anyway…I am really just an entertainer.

Started playing guitar before piano. Got first guitar in 1st Grade. Put it up shortly after that!

First played the guitar left-handed, but noticed that everyone else played it the other way…so I switched.
•
Played piano for the first time in Feb. 1988 at my residence Hall called Terry Courts. It took 7 hours and two sets of batteries, but I learned one whole song. All by ear.

I have a Cuban Uncle, Brazilian cousins, and a South African sister In law.

I have the smallest ears for a "full sized" adult male in North America. Just take a look next time you see me.

The piano I play in the Cactus is just a shell. There’s a digital Piano that slides in there for that really quality sound.

I was in the Purdue Glee Club for 7 years while an undergrad.
